Making plans

The only app you need to get together with friends

The only app you need to get together with friends

Honestly? Trying to keep up with your friends sucks. It can feel pretty much impossible.

Even worse? You find yourself juggling a hundred different apps and calendars and calculating complicated maths equations to find one day everyone is free. And then there’s still someone who forgets to let everyone know when they’re free. Yeah, miss me with that.

It’s almost like there needs to be one app just to see what your friends are up to, find what they’re doing, and get together with friends… 😏

How are people keeping up with their friends?

How are you finding time to catch up with friends? How do you stay connected with them? It gets complicated pretty quickly and it’s hard to keep up with it all. It takes way more effort than it should and here’s why…

The group chat madness

We’ve all been there when you try to make plans with friends in the group chat. It takes (at least) 1,000 back-and-forth messages to find a time when everyone is free - even then the conversations get sidetracked by people sending gifs or asking random questions, and suddenly you’re back to square one 😭

Real life kicks in

It sucks when you realise that all your friends have lives and they’re always busy… 😳 People don’t answer fast enough (or at all) and you’re left wondering if you should wait for a response or go ahead without them.

When the stars finally align and you decide on a plan, it still gets lost in the group chat. You end up manically scrolling or searching for random words to find the details. Then, of course, there’s always that one person who still says “so what’s the plan again guys?”... 🙄

So many apps…

You’re trying to get stay connected with your friends, but there are just so many things that you need to make that happen.

Flipping between your phone calendar, your group chats (on iMessage, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, Snap…), your social media, your notes, your maps, downloading new apps to create polls, keeping track of itineraries… the list is never-ending 😣.

Most tragic? The Excel guy building a spreadsheet with formulas and calculations to try to keep up with everything (even though we’re lowkey impressed).

At this point, it feels like the only way to actually make plans and keep up with friends is by getting everyone together in one room… and then you’re back to where you started… trying to get your friends together… 😳
