To customize colors in Howbout, use the Colors section in Settings.

To change event category colors:

1. Head to the Calendar tab (📅)
2. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner
3. Under ‘Colors’, select ‘Color categories’
4. Select the category you want to update
5. Choose the color, emoji, and default settings for that category

To change friend colors:

1. Head to the Calendar tab (📅)
2. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner
3. Under ‘Colors’, select ‘Friend colors’
4. Select the friend whose calendar color you want to update
5. Choose their new color

🔍 Note: When viewing a friend’s calendar, your own events will temporarily appear in a single color, which helps avoid confusion between your plans and theirs.
