How do I make a poll on Howbout?
You can create polls to get your friends’ input, whether you're choosing a date, time, location, or anything else.
Polls can be made from any event, group, or 1:1 chat.
For events, you can tap the 'Poll' button on the event details page. For friends and groups, head to the specific chat of the friend or group, select the poll icon at the bottom of the screen, then select whether you'd like a general poll or a time poll.

- Type your question
- Add your poll options
- Tap ‘Create poll’
⏰ Time Polls
Used to vote on the best date or time for a plan.
- Select ‘Time poll’
- Tap a date to add it as an option
- Tap ‘Add time’ to offer more options
- Want specific time slots? Turn off ‘All day’ to customise, and edit the question at the top
- Tap ‘Create poll’
