By default, all your Howbout friends can see events on your calendar, unless you change the visibility settings to 'Close Friends' or 'No one'.

The privacy settings are:

• Everyone (default): All friends can see event titles and details.
• Close Friends: Only selected Close Friends can see full event details. Others will just see “Busy.”
• No one: The event is fully private, not even Close Friends can see it.

You can apply these settings:

• On a per-plan basis.
• For entire synced calendars.
• Or by default for all plans you create.

To add or remove someone from Close Friends:

1. Go to the Home tab (🏠) or Calendar tab (📅)
2. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right
3. Tap ‘Close Friends’
4. Select or deselect the people you want on your Close Friends list
