You can sync your Howbout calendar with your phone’s native calendar and export it to apps like Google Calendar, Outlook, or iCal - as long as exporting is enabled.

Enable Calendar Export in Howbout:

1. Open the Home (🏠) or Calendar (📅) tab
2. Tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top right corner
3. Under Your calendar, toggle ‘Export to phone’ ON

🍏 iOS Calendar export instructions
To show Howbout events in your Apple Calendar:

1. Open the Calendar app on your iPhone
2. Tap ‘Calendars’ at the bottom
3. Under the iCloud section, turn on ‘Howbout’

On iOS 17+, ensure Howbout has 'Full Access' to calendars in your iPhone settings.

To export Howbout calendar to other apps (e.g. Google, Outlook):

1. In the Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom
2. Tap the (i) icon next to the Howbout calendar
3. Toggle on ‘Public Calendar’
4. Tap ‘Share Link…’ and copy the URL, use this to import Howbout into other apps

🤖 Android Calendar export instructions
To show Howbout events in your Android Calendar:

1. Open your phone’s native Calendar app
2. Open the calendar list or menu
3. Ensure Howbout calendars are toggled ON

If using Google Calendar and you don’t see Howbout calendars:

1. Go to Google Calendar settings, then ‘Manage Accounts’
2. Turn on Howbout under ‘Non-Google accounts’

🔍 Note: On Android, most calendar apps (like Google Calendar) only show Howbout events on mobile, they won’t sync to desktop.
