To enable notification permissions:

1. Head to the Home page by tapping the home icon (🏠) at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap the cog / settings icon (⚙️) at the top right of the screen to access the Settings page
3. Tap 'Enable push notifications' at the top of the page. You'll then either be able to grant permissions via a popup or via your phone settings

Still not getting notifications? Check your phone's settings:

iOS
1. Open your phone's settings and scroll down to your installed apps
2. Select Howbout
3. Select 'Notifications'
4. Toggle-on “Allow Notifications'

Android
1. Open your phone’s settings
2. Tap ‘Notifications’, and then ‘App Settings’
3. Select ‘All Apps’ in the drop down menu and select Howbout
4. Turn on notifications for Howbout
